From 1922-1926, there were an estimated 1,314 cases of tetanus per year in the U.S. In the late 1940's, the tetanus vaccine was introduced, and tetanus became a disease that was officially counted and tracked by public health officials. In 2000, only 41 cases of tetanus were reported in the U.S

Could tetanus vaccine have played any role what so ever in the last fraction of a percent in tetanus reduction?
NO! In a sanitary society with adequate nutrition, natural immunity to the bacteria gives almost everybody immunity against the bacteria's ability to grow in a healthy body.
It is a far different matter where the conditions prevail which encourage the tetanus bacteria's growth. Nobody can be immune to dirty wounds. Immunity to dirty wounds can not come from vaccination; immunity to dirty wounds can not come from having had tetanus one or more times and recovering.
The vaccine's "active" ingredient is the poison which is made by the bacteria. Antibodies against poison do not constitute an immunization.
Wound hygiene is essential, general good health is protective and vaccination is worthless.

Now, if you have a look at Tetanus in America, one of the most interesting articles is a 1969 one from the New England Medical Journal, Volume 280, Number 11, March 13. And on pages 570 there is a really interesting decline graph for mortality rates, which shows that the mortality rate plummetted dramatically from 64/100,000 in 1900 to 8/100,000 in 1940. By 1950, with most mothers still unvaccinated, it was 4.5/100,000.
Then there was the study in JAMA Nov 19, 1982, Volume 248, No 19, in which a large number of the unvaccianted Amish showed serological evidence of immunity to both diphtheria and tetanus.
(Incidentally, the same was thought about rabies (that there is no natural immunity), until a recent study showed that in Alaskan trappers who had never had any vaccine, they too had antibodies. Poof goes that theory)

Tetanus
A tetanus vaccination cannot possibly protect from the disease since the human organism cannot build up any immunity after contracting the disease (as is the same after HIB, diphtheria or TB). So, if nature hasn't planned the immunity, how does the vaccine work?
Furthermore, the tetanus vaccination (as is the case with the diphtheria vaccine) is a so-called toxoid vaccine. The killed poison of the tetanus bacilli is injected into the body and meant to protect us. But the human body cannot build up immunity against poisons 31. How can the vaccine protect us then? The official statistics of the various countries show us that the vaccine does not protect us. The Robert Koch Institute in Germany admits that 2/3 people who contract tetanus have been fully vaccinated 32. The rate in Switzerland was 50% fully vaccinated and still contracted the disease.

The DPT vaccine, which we will discuss later, combines the toxoids of diphtheria and tetanus with the whole cells of pertussis bacteria to form a single vaccine which has proven to be quite lethal to humans, especially infants with immature immune systems and unmyelinated nerves, and has resulted in death, encephalitic paralysis and brain damage. DPT vaccine is produced by taking tetanus bacteria and adding it to a broth of dextrose, beef heart infusion, salt and casein. Diphtheria bacteria are added to a similar broth. After the poisonous toxins are produced in each of the vats, the broth is filtered and carcinogenic formalin is added in an futile attempt to attenuate the toxoids. Poisonous methanol alcohol is then added to precipitate the toxoid, which is dried to a powder and mixed with glycerine. Pertussis bacteria are chemically killed by adding a poisonous mercury-based chemical called thimerosal, and aluminum hydroxide or potassium sulfate is added. The result is called DPT vaccine, which is injected into human children after testing on mice to determine the strength at which 50% of a test lot of mice survive. The result will be discussed later in detail, but the neurological disorders produced by such activity are part of the puzzle of why crime is so rampant in our society today. This fact is discussed in another chapter which illustrates that despite the fact they have known vaccines produce minimum brain damage since 1926, and they have known that this MBD produces aberrant behavior leading to criminal activity, they ignore that fact and do it anyway. After the nurse gave me the Tetanus shot, I felt a strange tingling going up the side of my neck, the same side as the injection. While making my payment, I mentioned the tingling to the receptionist. She did not answer me; she just took my money. No one told me anything about vaccine reactions or what to do if they happened. I don't remember getting any information or signing a release form. If I did, it was a perfunctory task without any discussion about what to do if a reaction occurred.
